The Original Universal is a great water-and-travel sandal, but let us be clear about what it is not: a support sandal. The EVA footbed is essentially flat with minimal arch contour, so problem feet will feel it after a few hours. Fine for the pool, the campsite, and casual days - not the pick for all-day walking if your feet are fussy.

The Teva Original is one of Teva's very first sandals — born on a Grand Canyon raft in 1984 and still a testament to timeless comfort and utilitarian style. Teva was founded in the early 1980s by a Colorado River guide who pioneered the sport-sandal category (the name itself is the Hebrew word for "nature").
