The Podiatrist Says

The FootShape wide toe box is the honest advantage here — toes can splay naturally instead of being wedged together, which many people with bunions or forefoot discomfort notice right away. The zero-drop platform is the trade-off: if you're used to heeled shoes, transition gradually, because calves and Achilles need time to adjust. It's a neutral cushioned trainer, with no pronation-control hardware.

Description
The Altra Torin 9 is a men's road running shoe with Altra's FootShape toe box and Balanced Cushioning. The updated midsole delivers a smoother, more responsive ride while the roomy toe box lets toes splay naturally and the zero-drop platform keeps you balanced. At Walking Comfort, we point runners toward the Torin 9 for natural-foot comfort with premium road cushioning.
