Getting the right size is the first step to comfort. Use this guide to choose your size and width online, or visit one of our stores for a free foot scan.
How to measure your feet at home
- Measure at the end of the day, when your feet are largest, wearing the socks you plan to wear.
- Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall and mark the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure from the wall to the mark in inches or centimeters. Measure both feet and use the larger one.
- Compare with the brand's size chart on the product page.
How a good fit should feel
- Length: about a thumb's width between your longest toe and the end of the shoe.
- Width: your foot shouldn't spill over the footbed or feel pinched at the ball of the foot.
- Heel: snug, with little or no slipping as you walk.
- Arch: the arch support should meet your arch without pressing into it.
Width guide
| Width | Women | Men |
|---|---|---|
| Narrow | 2A (AA) | B |

| Wide | D (W) | 2E (W) |

Brand sizing notes
- European sizes (Birkenstock, Naot, Alegria, Dansko, ECCO): sized in whole European sizes. If you are between sizes, most customers size down and choose a regular width.
- Dansko clogs: should feel snug at the instep with a little heel movement as you walk; that is by design.
- OOFOS: most styles use unisex (men's) sizing. Women usually order two sizes down from their usual women's size.
- Running shoes: many runners go up a half size for long distances because feet swell.

Cadence's structured insole adds a firmer arch contour than the Comfort line, but it stays comfort-first — think everyday support, not a medical-grade orthotic. A reasonable option for tired feet that don't need a posted device; expect a short break-in.
Description

Benefits
Supports the foot and improves shock absorption to help reduce stress and fatigue in the feet, legs, hips, and back.
The foam is approximately 7mm thick at the heel and under the ball of the foot, tapering to 5mm at the toes.
Performance and Fit
The added support and comfort enhance the fit of your shoes and help maximize energy transfer, pressure distribution, and balance.
Quality and Durability
Cadence insoles are made with high-quality materials that resist compression and deformation for superior durability and long-lasting feel.
About Cadence
Cadence insoles were developed and designed by a physical therapist with more than 35 years of personal and professional experience working with insoles and orthotics — born out of a passion to develop an over-the-counter insole with an unparalleled combination of comfort, support, and durability. At Walking Comfort, we agree that the insole is what your foot contacts and feels — it's the first line of comfort and support for your foot. Many replacement insoles on the market are either too soft to offer real support or too hard and uncomfortable, despite claims to the contrary. For many people, aches and pains in the feet and legs come down to a simple fix: a more supportive, comfortable insole, shoe, or both.
