As far as heeled shoes go, this is one of the better-built options — the built-in Vio Motion Technology footbed has contoured arch support, a deep heel cup for stability, and forefoot cushioning, and it carries the APMA Seal of Acceptance. The honest math doesn't change, though: a 2.5-inch heel shifts load onto the forefoot, so this is a desk-to-dinner shoe, not an all-day shoe. The block heel is steadier than a stiletto, but uneven ground is still its enemy.
