The Podiatrist Says
The original sport sandal: simple, quick-drying, and adjustable, with straps that lock the midfoot so toes don't have to grip. But it's a flat sandal with minimal arch support, so it's best for water, camp, and short casual wear rather than all-day walking. If you want support in a Teva, the Midform steps up with a cushioned, contoured midsole.

Description
The Teva Original Universal is the sandal that started it all. Teva is an authentic icon in the outdoor industry, founded in the early 1980s by a Colorado River guide. Teva pioneered the sport-sandal category, and for more than 20 years athletes and enthusiasts have traveled the globe in Teva footwear. The Teva name is the Hebrew word for "nature," and the hand logo is the Hopi symbol for "friendship" and "water." Teva supports the outdoor athletic lifestyle and remains committed to innovation in outdoor performance footwear. At Walking Comfort, we carry the Original Universal as the classic that launched the sport-sandal category.
Getting the right fit: Draw a straight line, longer than your foot, on a piece of paper. Place the paper on a flat surface and stand on the line with your heel and longest toe centered on it. (For a child's foot, it may be easier to hold the paper up to the foot.) Mark the line at the tip of the longest toe and at the back of the heel, and repeat for the other foot. Measure the distance between the marks — take the larger of the two measurements and use the conversion chart to find your size.
