The raised midsole gives a little more underfoot than the original Teva, which helps on long days of standing and walking in a sandal. The three-point adjustable strap system lets you dial the fit so the foot doesn't slide — sliding is what causes most sandal blisters. Honest note: the knotted straps aren't adjustable at the knot itself, so very narrow or very wide feet should try before buying.
