The Helsinki 2.0 is an ECCO leather boot with a removable insole — the footbed comes out for custom orthotics, and the leather upper breaks in to the foot within a few wears. Boots give ankle coverage and structure a shoe can't, at the cost of warmth and weight. Make sure the heel is snug without the toes pinching; a boot that slips at the heel will blister.
